EAGLES NEWS
Today, the impossible dream came true for the Eagles, as they finally signed 1st-round draft pick defensive tackle Broderick Bunkley to a 6 year $13 million deal, this after Bunkley had held out for the 1st 16 games of Eagles training camp. Why this took so long to get done, remains a mystery at this point, but fortunately for Bunkley the Eagles training camp is slightly longer this year than usual, as they will be playing 5 preseason games instead of 4. Thus, even though Bunkley will likely miss the Eagles 1st 2 preseason games, including Sunday night's hall of fame game with the raiders, he will still be able to play in 3 preseason games, which should be enough for him to get ready for the season. All I can say is thank God he finally signed, and it's about time.
