Big news for the Flyers, yes that's right it's a done deal. The Flyers and Simon Gagne have finally agreed to a new 5 year contract worth 26 million. Gagne is coming off the best season of his career with 47 goals and 79 points and thus far he has meshed exceptionally well with superstar Peter Forsberg. Also the Flyers training camp starts later this week, so this agreement comes at a perfect time, and really fills me with some excitement for the upcoming hockey season.
