FLYERS NEWS
The Flyers officially ended their off-season wheeling and dealing today, by resigning head coach Ken Hitchcock to a new 3 year deal through 2008-2009. Hitchcock led the Flyers to the conference finals in 2004 and won the stanley cup with the Dallas Stars in 1999, so it should come as no surprise that the Flyers resigned him and I think it's a good move on their part. Hopefully, he can still figure out a way to get the Flyers deep into the playoffs again.

okay I understand why you are angry at Clarke and King, but I hate to tell you but Gillick is only in his 1st year as Phils GM, so it wasn't him that was firing all those managers, it was former GM Ed Wade who got himself fired as well.
