SIXERS NEWS

Timberwolves 95 Sixers 84
It Was Over When....
Timberwolves' forward Ricky Davis stepped on the court in the 4th quarter. Davis scored 14 of his 22 points on night in the quarter, helping to turn a tight game into a runaway for the T-Wolves.
The Game Ball Goes To....
Ricky Davis with 22 points, Mike James with 20 points, and Kevin Garnett with 15 points, 14 rebounds, and 6 assists.
The Stat Of The Game Is....
39 as in just a shooting percentage of 39 for the Sixers on the night and 12.5 as in a measily 3-point shooting percentage of 12.5 for the Sixers on the night. Basically you can't win if you shoot that poorly.
The Bottom Line Is....
Well let me see, that's 1-2-3-4, count 'em 4 straight losses now for the Sixers. Man that 3-0 start seems like it was a long time ago. Once again the Sixers defense was terrible and as mentioned the shooting just wasn't there. I mean, who knew they would miss Shavlick Randolph so much. So far they have yet to win since he went on injured reserve, despite the fact that Chris Webber has returned to the lineup. Speaking of injured reserve, Kyle Korver also sat out again tonight, and that pretty much explains the poor 3-point shooting percentage, but what of their other problems tonight. As far as I know there is no easy way to explain it, they just don't seem to have the same energy level they had at the beginning of the season and I don't know why.
