Sixers 98 Jazz 87
It Was Over When....
The 3rd quarter ended. Through the 1st half the Sixers held the lead and initially stood their ground and continued to hold it as the 3rd quarter began, but by the time the quarter ended the Jazz had gone on a run and outscored the Sixers by 12 points to take an 8 point lead into the 4th quarter which they would not relinquish.
The Game Ball Goes To....
Deron Williams with 7 points and 14 assists, Carlos Boozer with 27 points and 14 rebounds, Mehmet Okur with 21 points and 7 rebounds, and Matt Harpring with 20 points off the bench.
The Stat Of The Game Is....
22, as in 22 turnovers on the night for the Sixers. The Sixers played a better game in just about every stastical area than did the Jazz, but because of all those turnovers they lost.
The Botttom Line Is....
Considering they were playing the team with the best record in the Western Conference and were without Chris Webber in the lineup the Sixers didn't do have bad tonight and if not for all those turnovers probably could have won. It's just too bad that they didn't.
