SIXERS NEWS

Sixers 99 Suns 94
It Was Over When....
Andre Iguodala hit a three pointer with 2 minutes to play in the 4th quarter. From that time on the Suns would not close to within any closer than 3 points of the Sixers.
The Game Ball Goes To....
Andre Miller with 12 points and 6 assists, Willie Green with 20 points and 6 rebounds, Andre Iguodala with 24 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists, and Kyle Korver with 16 points off the bench.
The Stat Of The Game Is....
50, as in 50 rebounds for the Sixers on the night, to just 37 for the Suns. Just like last night the Sixers had a massive rebounding advantage and so they won thier second game in a row.
The Bottom Line Is....
Going into tonight's game the Suns had a chance to make history by becoming the first team in NBA to win all of their interconference games without a loss and surely they were going to get the job done against the Sixers, but that as they say, is why they play the games. Tonight, was without the a doubt the Sixers finest hour of the season. Everything that could have gone their way went their way. They held the high-scoring suns to just 94 points and were a perfect 18 for 18 from the free throw line. Basically, they played as well as they could have, beat a really good team in the Suns, and should feel very good about themselves right now.
