Geoff Sanderson scored early in the 3rd period to give the Flyers what turned out to be an insurmountable 3-1 lead.

The Stat Of The Game Is....
37, as in 37 saves out of 39 shots by goalie Martin Biron, to just 33 saves out of 36 shots by Thrashers goalie Kare Lehtonen. What a surprise, Biron gets back in lineup and the Flyers win.
The Bottom Line Is....
I don't know what it is, but for some reason the Flyers just can't lose to the Thrashers, in fact they swept their season series with the Thrashers with today's win. If only every game could be against the Thrashers.
