In rematch of their season opener the Sixers once again forged a furious second half comeback against the Toronto Raptors, but again they came up tantalizingly short. Offensively four Sixers scored in double figures. Andre Iguodala led the way with 26 points, followed by Louis Williams off the bench with 21, Andre Miller with 14, and Kyle Korver off the bench with 10 points. Defensively the Sixers didn't do so well, as they were out rebounded for about the first time this season, and allowed the Raptors to shoot 45% from the field and 50% from three point range. The Raptors pushed ahead early in the 1st quarter and by the half they led by 7, with the score at 47-40. The Sixers began their rally in the 3rd quarter cutting the lead to 3, with the score at 71-68. In the 4th quarter the Sixers rally continued, as a 4 point play by Louis Williams cut the Raptor lead to 1, 101-100, with 21.8 seconds to play. After clutch free throws from Chris Bosh, Williams had a chance to complete a 3 point play and knot it up at 103, but he missed his free throw attempt, and after Toronto sunk two more three throws, Iguodala was fouled missed his first three throw, and hit the 2nd one even though he was attempting to intentionally miss it, and that was it for the Sixers as they fell 105-103. So the Sixers drop to 2-3 overall as their up and down season continues.
