SIXERS NEWS

The Sixers began a long road trip today with a visit to Sacramento to face the shorthanded Kings, with Mike Bibby and Kevin Martin on injured reserve. The Sixers took advantage of their absence and notched their second win in a row. Offensively, four Sixers scored in double figures (Andre Iguodala, Andre Miller, Samuel Dalembert, Kyle Korver) with Samuel Dalembert's 19 leading the way. Defensively, it was another bannner for Samuel Dalembert with 11 rebounds and 4 blocks,as the Sixers out rebounded Sacramento 38-32. As for the game, it was tight for a while, then the Sixers pulled a way for the win. Through one quarter, the Sixers led 26-25. At the half, the Sixers led by 4, 50-46. Through three quarters the game was tied at 63. Then in the 4th quarter Sixers went on a 19-4 run and pulled away for a 12 point, 92-80 triumph. So the Sixers improve to 13-16 overall and move back into a tie for 3rd place in the Atlantic division with the Nets.
