The Phils finished off their 3 game set in Atlanta this afternoon, as they looked to complete the sweep. Adam Eaton got the start today and pitched fairly well ,holding the Braves to just 3 runs on 8 hits in 6 innings of work ,while pitching out of several jams. Meanwhile, some more late heroics would tell the tale for the Phils' lineup. Now onto the game. In the top of the first, Ryan Howard doubled in one run, and Chase Utley scored a second run on a fielder's choice for a 2-0 Phils' lead. In the bottom of the first, Mark Texeira slammed a 2 run homer to knot it up at 2. In the top of the 3rd, Howard doubled in another run for a 3-2 Phils' lead. In the bottom of the 4th, Omar Infante led off with a single and managed to make it all the way around the base paths on a couple of singles and a ground out to knot it up at 3. It stayed that way until the top of the 9th, where the "Flyin Hawaiian" Shane Victorino singled in one run and Ryan Howard slapped his 3rd double of the day for 2 more runs to put the Phils ahead to stay 6-3. Finally, in the bottom of the inning Brad Lidge put the Braves down in order to close out the 6-3 win. So the Phils improve to 39-26 overall and remain 3.5 games up in the NL East.
