As if yesterday's loss wasn't already bad enough, more bad news has come to the Birds today, as MRI results revealed that Brian Westbrook fractured two of his ribs in yesterday's game. With a bad ankle already, that likely means he will miss next week's game, but there is still the possibility that he'll tough it out at 50% or so, and maybe get used as a decoy. At any rate the Birds will have to start to adjust to life without Westbrook ,at least not a healthy Westbrook, for a while.

Well...the season doesnt seem to be as promising as I first thought, and the news of Westbrooks injury just makes it worse, although theres still the Phillies to look forward to.
