FLYERS NEWS

The NHL all star game took place tonight in Montreal and the Eastern conference won in a shootout 12-11. Only Jeff Carter made the East roster for the Flyers as a reserve and in only 17 minutes of ice time he failed register a goal or assist. Instead to the delight of the hometown fans Alexei Kovalev of the Canadiens was the MVP of the game with two breakaway goals and the first score of the shootout.

Its sad to see the Flyers get little credit, but it'll be ok when they win the Stanley Cup.
