The Sixers signed 1st round pick Jrue Holiday to a contract today. In 5 games in the Sixers Orlando summer league a little over a week ago Holiday averaged 8.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, and a team high 3 assists. So maybe he will contribute this year after all.

Well it never hurts when your draft pick contributes but I'm not really expecting much out of the Sixers this year.

oh come on they're not going to be that bad. Well okay things might fall apart with Lou Williams apparently playing the point, but who knows maybe this kid can step right in say midseason and make the Sixers a stud young team, perhaps good enough to win a playoff series finally. Of course that probably won't happen but you never know.
