The Sixers have signed veteran forward/center Primoz Brezec who last played for the Raptors in 2008. This past season Brezec played in Italy so this is sort of a 2nd chance at an NBA career for him. He's has been a 20 and 10 guy at times in the past but for his career he is only averaging 7.6 points and 4.1 rebounds a game. I suppose he could be a valuable backup, but I am not really sure where he fits in with this team. For one thing the Sixers let Theo Ratliff sign with Spurs as a free agent so I guess Brezec fills his spot. Also Brezec is a 50% shooter for his career and considering Eddie Jordan's offensive requires good shooters I suppose he helps in that respect as well.
