The Pro Bowl selections were announced today and 6 Eagles were selected. Desean Jackson was selected as a starter at WR and kick returner, the first time in NFL history that a player has been selected to start in the pro bowl at multiple positions, and the 1st in Eagles' history that a player has been selected to start as the kick returner. Joining Jackson as NFC starters are tackle Jason Peters, CB Asante Samuel, FB Leonard Weaver, and kicker David Akers. Defensive End Trent Cole was also selected as a reserve and QB Donovan Mcnabb was selected as a first alternate.

Well its good to see the Eagles will have a good representation at the pro bowl unless they're in the Super Bowl of course, however I think Sheldon Brown should have been selected but there's always next year.

actually Sheldon was selected as a 2nd alternate so there are a couple injuries and the Bird's aren't bowling he'll be there
