The stayed busy today announcing they were releasing guard Shawn Andrews. Andrews was a pro bowler for the Birds in 05 and and 06. In 08 he hurt his back not too far into the season and things were never the same with him again. He missed the rest of that season and all of last season. Apparently the Eagles's were tied of waiting for him to get healthy. They should be fine without him, plus they still have possession of his brother, Stacy Andrews, who missed most of last season as well. Either he or someone else can definitely make up for the absence of his brother

Well Andrews was definately valuable...that is when he actually played and like you said his hole isnt big to fill considering he hadnt played in such a long time.
