The Eagles thrilling win yesterday came at a price. S Nate Allen ruptured the patellar tendon in his right knee and is done for the season and Jason Avant suffered a slight concussion while throwing the block that ultimately sprung Desean Jackson on his winning punt return.

Its tough to see such a promising young talent in Allen get hurt at the end of the season, especially with the way he was playing and Hands Avant deserves some major props in springing DeSean with that block.
