ex Phils GM Pat Gillick will be inducted into the baseball hall of fame in 2011 along with players still to be determined. He will be the 32nd executive to be inducted as he beat out the recently departed George Steinbrenner and the original head of the player's association, Marvin Miller, now 93 and unsuccessful for a 5th time. If he's still alive a year from now, Miller might finally get in for 2012. Anyway, going back to Gillick, he was the GM of 3 teams that won world series, two in Toronto, and 1 here in Philly and certainly deserves induction.

Its nice to see Gillick get in considering all he had done for the Phillies just alone.
