The Phils completed spring training today with a 4-1 loss to the Pirates. Afterwards they announced their final roster to open the season as follows:
starting rotation: Halladay, Lee, Oswalt, Hamels, and Joe Blanton
bullpen: Contreras, Madson, Romero, Baez, Antonio Bastardo, Kyle Kendrick, and David Herndon
catchers: Ruiz and Brian Schneider
infielders: Howard, JRoll, Polanco, Wilson Valdez, Micheal Martinez, and Pete Orr
outfielders: Victorino, Ibanez, Ben Francisco, Ross Gload, and John Mayberry Jr.
