SIXERS NEWS

Warriors 102 Sixers 101
It Was Over When....
The Warriors Al Harrington hit a driving layup to put the Warriors up 102-101 with 1 second to play in the 4th quarter, as Andre Iguodala's subsequent desperation heave fell short to end the game.
The Game Ball Goes To....
Baron Davis with a game high 25 points and 12 assists, Monte Ellis with 21 points and 6 rebounds, Al Harrington with 11 points and 8 rebounds, Andres Biedrins with 11 points and 7 rebounds, and Mikael Pietrus with 13 points and 8 rebounds off the bench.
The Stat Of The game Is....
In a close game such as this one there is really no distinguishable stat between the two teams, so rather than look for one, we'll commend a statistical achievement instead. Therefore are stat for the night is, 25 as in 25 points, 13 as in 13 assists, and 10 as in 10 rebounds onthe night for the Sixers Andre Iguodala, his third career triple double and 2nd this season. Even in a losing effort it still rings true, so way to go Andre and keep up the good work.
The Bottom Line Is....
Yes Iguodala got a triple-double, but the Sixers still lost and that's all that matters. For, statistical achievement is great, but winning is even greater.
