The Sixers began a key road trip this afternoon in Miami as they looked to put an end to their current losing streak. Unf0rtunately, despite a heroic effort by Andre Miller, who scored 30 while playing with a strained calf muscle, the Sixers came up short again. Once again they struggled from the field at just 37% and once again their opponents shot well from the field at 51%. That just won't win you too many ballgames. Nothing was decided in the first half of the game as the two teams ended the half tied at 40. In the 3rd quarter Miami pushed ahead by 4 with the score 67-63 heading into the 4th quarter. The Sixer then attempted to rally back in the 4th quarter but they simply ran out of time as the shots just didn't fall for them late in the game. Eventually Miami hung to win by 6 with the final score 97-91. So the Sixers drop back to .500 at 27-27 overall and remain 7th in the Eastern conference.
