The Birds re-signed guard Max Jean Gilles to a one year deal today, leaving punter Sav Rocca as the only Eagles restricted free agent who remains unsigned. Last season Gilles did not see the field too much until the last 2 games of the season when he was forced into lineup in place of Jamaal Jackson. He didn't fare too well in either contest, both crushing losses to Dallas, and lot of people didn't think the Eagles should even bother bringing him back. I guess they still believe he can improve into a top lineman. Juan Castillo is arguably the best offensive line coach in the NFL and he thinks it's possible then it probably is.
