Earlier today the Eagles signed right guard Shawn Andrews to a seven-year contract extension that will keep him under contract through 2015. On paper this sounds like a good move for the Eagles. Last year the Eagles offense was clearly injury plagued, but one of the few guys that was able to stay healthy enough to play in every game was Andrews, so based on that the Eagles would be crazy to even give him a chance to leave as a free agent. However, in the end how much can Andrews really bring to this team. Can he make the Eagles running game better, or improve the Eagles pass protection? Ultimately, only time will tell.
