SIXERS NEWS

The Sixers have made several roster moves the last couple days. They signed 2nd round draft picks Derrick Byars and Herbert Hill to contracts. Also they signed free-agent center Calvin Booth to a contract. Finally, they completed an interesting trade, sending center Steven Hunter and forward Bobby Jones to the Nuggets, for forwards Reggie Evans and Ricky Sanchez. Evans is one of the NBA's premiere rebounders, or at least he was before he went to Denver, but hopefully the change of scenery will revert him back to form.
