EAGLES NEWS
Today the Eagles signed former Temple Owl and Patriot/Colt defensive tackle, Joe Klecko to a deal. For the Eagles Klecko will turn around and play his other position fullback. With Thomas Tapeh singed away to the Minnesota Vikings and ex-Eagles o-coordinator Brad Childress, this was a move the Birds had to make. Although he won't be the only fullback in camp for the Birds, (undrafted free agent and practice squadder Brad Davis is the other) Klecko is likely to win the job. He is a consumnate professional, he understands what is expected of him as a fullback, and he should be a welcome addition to the Eagles offense, not that they'll have him do anything but block, but he could catch a pass if they threw one too him as well.
