PHILLIES NEWS
The Phils continued to spring training today as with the regular season just two weeks away, they began tuning up the starters for the long season. So today was essentially the first time the Phils starters played deep into a game thus far this spring, and the results were promising. Brett Myers got the start, and in 7 innings of work, he allowed just 2 runs on 5 hits ,as the Phils knocked the Cincinnati Reds 6-2. Looks like they might be ready for the season after all.
