The Phils finished off their 3 game set with the Rockies tonight, as they looked to complete an impressive 3 game sweep. Thanks to a tremendous for him, performance by Adam Eaton allowing just 1 run on 4 hits in 6 innings of work they were able to do just that. Now onto the game. In the bottom of the first Geoff Jenkins forced in a run with a bases loaded walk, for a 1-0 Phils' lead. In the top of the 3rd, Todd Helton slapped a 2 out RBI single to knot it at 1. In the bottom of the 5th, Chase Utley slammed a 3 run homer, Geoff Jenkins slugged a 2 run homer for a 6-1 Phils' lead. From there J.C Romero in the 8th, and Chad Durbin in the 9th, combined to close it out for a 6-1 Phils' win. So the Phils improve to 31-24 overall, but remain 2nd in the NL East, 1/2 of a game out of first. Not bad huh?
