The Phils continued their interleague series with the Red Sox tonight. The veteran Jamie Moyer got the start, and pitched well, allowing just 2 runs on 4 hits in 5 innings of work. However, the Red Sox, Jon Lester bested him blanking the Phils on 6 hits in 7 brilliant innings of work. Now onto the game. In the top of the 2nd, Coco Crisp slammed a 2 run homer for a 2-0 Red Sox lead. In the top of the 6th, Crisp singled, stole second, stole third, and scored on a double by Julio Lugo for a 3-0 Red Sox lead. From there the shutout continued until Jonathan Papelbon struck out the side in the bottom of 9th inning to close out the 3-0 Red Sox win. So the Phils drop to 42-31 overall and now lead the NL East by just 2.5 games.

Well, we're still in first but it might not stay that way if they just keep winning one game and then losing the next
