The Eagles dropped their last preseason game to the Jets 21-17. The starters did not play at all. Instead backups still in search of roster spots ruled the night, most notably S Kurt Coleman and LB Moise Fokou. Coleman returned 2 TDs for touchdowns, the first Eagle in history to do so in one game. Fokou led the team in tackles with 10. Even though he didn't need to lock up a spot, rookie CB Trevar Lindley looked pretty good as well. Mike Vick played the 1st quarter at QB and was pretty good completing 3 of 5 passes for 56 yards, while rushing twice for 11 yards. Mike Kafka played the rest of the way and struggled, completing just 9 of 27 passes for 76 yards, 0 tds and 1 interception. Veteran WR Kelley Washington had a great night on special teams and may have won himself a spot on the Eagles roster. That could mean Hank Baskett won't make the team. Recent acquisitions Jorrick Calvin and Pennel Egboh looked pretty good as well but they probably won't make the team. WR Chad Hall got a lot of playing time as well but he probably didn't do enough to beat out Washington or Baskett.
