FLYERS NEWS
The Orange and Black's dramatic streak continued tonight in New York against the Rangers. Marty Biron got the start in goal, and had another dazzling night saving 31 of the 32 shots he faced, to help the Flyer's to victory. Early in the first period of play Jaromir Jagr scored for a 1-0 Ranger's lead. In the second period of play neither team could light the lamp. Early in the 3rd period of play Danny Briere scored yet another big goal to tie it at 1 for the Flyers. From there neither team could score again before the end of regulation and the game went into overtime. There, just over 2 minutes in, Mike Richards scored for a dramatic 2-1 Flyers win ,their 4th in a row. So the Flyers improve to 39-28-10 overall, but remain 4th in the Atlantic division and 7th in the Eastern conference, only one point behind the Rangers for 6th, and still 2 points ahead of the 8th place Bruins and 4 points ahead of the 9th place Capitals.

Another big win for the Flyers, but they wouldnt need to have all these big wins if they didnt go on their losing streaks
