The Phils continued their 4 game set with the Reds tonight. Brett Myers got the start tonight and nearly had the night of his life, tossing 6 and 2/3rd's innings of no hit ball before the Reds finally broke through. On the whole he still had a great night, allowing just one run on one hit in 7 and 1/3rd innings of work. Now onto the game. In the top of the 7th, Joey Votto slapped a 2 out double for a 1-0 Red's lead. In the top of the 9th, Votto struck again with another double for a 2-0 Red's lead. Finally in the bottom of the inning the Phils went down in order for a tough 2-0 loss. So Myers went from a near no-hitter to a loss, just one of those days huh?
