The Phils finished off their 4 game set with the Reds tonight. Cole Hamels got the start tonight and tossed a masterful 3 hit shutout, an exceptional performance considering how much he struggled in his last two outings. Now onto the game. In the bottom of the 3rd, Carlos Ruiz singled and scored on an error for a 1-0 Phils' lead. In the bottom of the 5th, Pedro Feliz singled and scored on a pair of errors, and the "Flyin Hawaiian" Shane Victorino followed with an RBI single for a 3-0 Phils' lead. In the bottom of the 6th, Geoff Jenkins slammed a solo homer for a 4-0 Phils' lead. In the bottom of the 7th, Ryan Howard slapped an RBI single for a 5-0 Phils' lead. Finally from there Hamels closed it out for his second complete game shutout of the season thus far, as the Phils improved to 36-26 overall and remained in first in the NL East by 2.5 games.

Its good to see the ace is playing like one, and that the Phils continue to put in runs. Hopefully they can keep it up
