It was very busy day for the Birds as they looked to whittle their roster down to the 53 player limit. First they traded Stacy Andrews to the Seattle Seahawks for a 2011 draft pick. Then they sent a 7th round pick to the Baltimore Ravens for DE/LB Antwon Barnes. If the Eagles didn't already have a enough depth at DE they do now with the versatile Barnes. Aside from those 2 moves the Eagles also cut 13 players, including Chad Hall, Jeff Owens, Kelley Washingon, Macho Harris, Quintin Demps, Cornelius Ingram, and Max Jean Gilles. However, with Andrews traded away for nothing the Birds were left with only 52 players. So most likely Gilles will re-sign with the Birds and become the 53rd and final player on the roster. Likewise with Harris, that opened the door for the recently acquired Jorrick Calvin to actually make the team as the final CB on the roster.

Well I guess we now know why the Eagles picked up Reggie Wells. Its nice for me to end the speculation in my own head.
