SIXERS NEWS

Another night, another loss for the Sixers, this time at home against the Milwaukee Bucks. Apparently, jet lag is too much for some teams to overcome. Thanks a lot NBA scheduling guy. Anyway, offensively, five Sixers scored in double figures( Andre Miller, Willie Green, Andre Iguodala, Samuel Dalembert, Louis Williams) with Iggy's 21 leading the way. Defensively, Samuel Dalembert was again the standout with 16 rebounds and 3 blocks, as the Sixers out rebounded Milwaukee 47-39. So all in all the Sixers actually pretty well tonight, but it just wasn't quite enough. Through the 1st quarter of play the Bucks lead by 9, 26-17. By the half the Bucks lead by 10, 46-36. Through the 3rd quarter the Sixers had whittled that lead down to 6, 64-58. In the 4th quarter the Sixers continued their late rally, and closed to within 2 with 50 seconds to play, but they wouldn't get any closer, and fell to the Bucks 87-83. So the Sixers drop to 14-21 overall, but remain 4th in the Atlantic division.
