The phils finished off a rough 4 game set in L.A tonight. Brett Myer's got the start and produced another solid outing, allowing just 3 runs on 5 hits in 7 innings of work. Unfortunately, his teammate could give him almost no run support, and so they would need to return the favor to the Dodgers with some late game heroics. Now onto the game. In the bottom of the 2nd, James Loney tripled and scored for a 1-0 Dodger's lead. In the bottom of the 6th, Matt Kemp slammed a solo homer for a 2-0 lead. In the top of the 7th, the Phils finally got on the board as Jayson Werth doubled and scored to cut the lead to 2-1. In the bottom of the 7th, Casey Blake singled in a run for a 3-1 lead, to drive the nail in the Phil's coffin. Finally in the top of the 9th, the Phils went down in order to finish the 3-1 loss and an embarrassing 4 game sweep at the hands of the Dodgers. So the Phils drop to 64-57 overall and out first in the NL East, 1 game behind the hated mets.

Well from the sounds of it the Phils are losing/lost and I just gotta say this is getting rediculous. The way they are playing just doesnt seem to be the same team that was going on winning streaks a week ago
