Despite the return of Andre Iguodala to the lineup the Sixers continued to struggle a bit defensively, as they allowed the Indiana Pacers to shoot 51% from the floor and 50% from beyond. You're just not going to win very often when you let your opponent do that to you. Offensively, things were fine as 7 Sixers scored in double figures and the team shot 47% from the field. Jrue Holiday led the way with 19 and 8 assists, Elton was close behind with 18, Evan Turner and Mo Speights both chipped in with 14, while Jodie Meeks drilled 3 treys and wound up with 13 and Thad Young and Lou Williams both had 12. It all went for naught though as the Sixer's defense failed to hold up down the stretch.
It was a tight affair in the first half with Indiana taking a 4 point lead after the 1st quarter and an 8 point lead at the half. Finally in the 3rd quarter the Sixers rallied back to cut the lead to 3 heading into the 4th quarter. After that the Sixers at one point surged ahead by 5 and looked primed for another big win at home. Unfortunately it was not to be on this night. The Sixers went pretty cold the rest of the way and couldn't make stops defensively. They hung in there for a while but eventually Indiana pulled away and won by 8, 111-103.
