The late season scoring woes continued for the Flyers this afternoon as the Rangers visited the Wells Fargo center. They managed just 34 shots and 2 goals and went 0 for 4 on the power play. The Orange and Black were also out shot in 2 of 3 periods. Still 32 saves by Sergei Bobrovsky and goals from James Van Reimsdyk and Nikolay Zherdev were just enough for the Flyers to force overtime and then a shootout. In the shootout both Zherdev and Claude Giroux failed to score while Erik Christensen and Wojtek Wolski each beat Bobrovsky as the Flyers fell 3-2. Despite the loss the 1 point the Flyers earned moves them back into a tie with the Capitals atop the Eastern conference.
