The Ottawa Senators have been near the bottom of the Eastern conference standings all season. Someone should tell that to the Flyers who were once again embarrassed them in Ottawa. Mike Richards scored a pair of power play goals, 1 early in 1st period and 1 late in the period, to twice give the Flyers a 1 goal lead. Both times however, porous defense gave the lead right back. After falling behind 3-2 with just seconds remaining in the 2nd period the Flyers did not recover, eventually losing 5-2. Not exactly a playoff caliber performance.
