Roy Halladay befuddled Met's hitters for 7 innings this afternoon, allowing no runs and 6 hits, while striking out 7. Meanwhile the Phils hitters, embarrassed Met's pitching, racking up another 11 runs on 16 hits. Shane Victorino and Placido Polanco got things started in the 3rd singing with an RBI single and an RBI double respectively. In the 4th inning, Carlos Ruiz singled in 1 run, Wilson Valdez doubled in another, and finally Polanco picked up a 2 out 2 run single for a 6-0 lead. In the 5th, Valdez knocked a 2 out 2 run double, before being thrown out at 3rd while trying to advance. In the 7th Raul Ibanez crushed a 2 run homer for a 10-0 lead. Finally in the 8th inning, a fielder's choice gave the Phils an 11-0 lead. Mercifully, they stopped there and David Herndon finished off the embarrassed Mets and the 11-0 win in the 9th.
